“ Smithy has such a wonderful variety. Great food and drinks. I love the tots poutine. It's unique and very hearty. Crab nachos are a must try. I just wish they would bring back the OG cake. ”

“ We loved Smithy when we found it in 2023 it's where I chose to celebrate my birthday in 2024. This time we brought the family to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere, service and food Smithy has to offer. To start, it was stormy something crazy this year and the valet out front was a delightful start to the evening! We were cheerfully greeted at the host stand and our reservation was pulled up immediately. We were shown to a booth facing the kitchen, as we'd requested in our reservation. The place was decorated for Christmas, although we missed the giant ornaments hanging from the ceiling this year. ** the ONLY bummer was they don't offer kid's menus, which is a shame because I think we'd come more often if they did. So the kids each ordered am $18 burger (cringe) with meat & bun only. My husband loved the Hot Honey Chicken from last visit so much he ordered it again. It did NOT disappoint! I have dreamt about my order from last year and couldn't wait to duplicate it again - crab nachos (already dairy free!!!) and guacamole & chips (the pepitas & pomegranate seeds are a treat). I was delighted they hadn't changed a thing and both were as tasty as I'd remembered. I made sure to have leftovers so I could enjoy them again for lunch the next day. The finale was the firecracker candle (see image) they brought me while singing happy birthday. Smithy was the perfect place to celebrate this year and I am so grateful we accidentally found it last year. ”

“ The last time I was here, I ordered the Japanese Cakes, Salmon Benedict, and the Katy Trail Mule. Japanese Cakes are an excellent choice if you're craving something sweet for brunch. It has bananas, pomegranate, blueberries, strawberries, vanilla anglaise, bourbon maple syrup, coconut nectar, and candied pecans. I loved it! The Salmon Benedict was decent, it could have been more flavorful in my opinion. It has salt and peppered salmon, poached eggs, mushrooms, spinach, lemon-scented hollandaise, tomato jam, and grilled baguette. I remember I really enjoyed the drink when I was here a few years ago, but this time around, I wasn't a fan of the Katy Trail Mule. Been here for brunch and lunch, and overall, definitely a fan of this place! They have complimentary valet parking and the service is great. Wait times have been pretty short as well each time I've gone. ”

Presentation of food was great. Service was a bit slow but it was 2 hours before closing so I'm sure servers were just tired. ”

“ Back after a long hiatus. Came in for Sunday brunch. Was flying solo and was seated immediately at a high top next to the bar. Fun vibe with TVs with three different NFL live games going on to watch. The tots poutine with a sunny side eggs on top hit the spot. Served piping hot in a skillet right out of the oven. The short rib and gravy had excellent flavor and the cheese curds were perfectly cooked. The tots were a little mushy, but that's easily forgiven, considering the excellent flavors and taste. I definitely recommend using the free valet out front. Parking is always dicey. ”

“ This was a delight. I was invited here with a few family members for a girls brunch on Sunday. The place was busy but not too packed. Service was great, our waiter was prompt and friendly and made sure we enjoyed our meals. Parking is a little tough to find but we were able to grab a spot next door. Great food, great atmosphere, great service! ”
